Terms & Conditions HEALTH Please let us know if your rabbit is vaccinated prior to boarding against Myxomatosis and RHD. We reserve the right to refuse pets that are in obvious poor health ie runny eyes, nose, signs of neglect or very soiled bottoms or fur. Please check they are in good health before boarding. PAYMENT Payment must be made in full either by cash on arrival or bank transfer 3 days before arrival. CANCELLATION We do not ask you to pay a holding deposit, but as a polite gesture please cancel at least 3 days before arrival so we can keep the hutch available. Once you have booked we will contact you the week before arrival to confirm your booking and payment details. CONTACT FOR EMERGENCIES We will ask for two emergency contact details. Preferably one of these is someone close by. In any emergency we will do our best to contact you. If we cannot get hold of one of your contacts, your vet your pet will be taken to a local vet and the cost will be charged to you. REFUNDS We will refund you in full if you have prepaid and you cancel at least 3 days before arrival. We will not refund at short notice or if you decide to collect your pet early. DROP OFF AND COLLECTION Please inform us of drop off time prior to arrival. For collection, let us know when you arrive so we can pencil a time in for your return. If this time changes please let us know the day before collection or the morning of collection before 10am. |
NON-COLLECTION OF PETS
Any animal not collected within 48 hours will be passed onto animal welfare if we cannot contact you. ILLNESS/DEALTH Your pet will be looked after to the best of our ability and we will make regular checks on their health for signs of illness, fly strike or any unusual behaviors. If we are concerned we will contact you and take them to your vet or a vet close by. All costs will need to be covered by you. No refund will be given for the time your animal is away from us. Please make sure at least one of your emergency contacts are available at all times so we do not have to make decisions regarding your pet in the event of a veterinary procedure. If we are unable to contact you, we will not be liable for decisions made on behalf of your pet. Hinckley Small Pet Boarding will not accept responsibility for illness, injury, accident or death during or after your pets stay with us. We are experienced in looking after animals and will do our best to ensure their welfare during their stay. Due to the nature of these animals accidents can happen, however we have looked after small animals for years with no problems. In the unlikely event an accident happens, we will not be liable. Your pets will not come into contact with any animals other than your own. If you discover your animal is pregnant we will not accept responsibility as this will not happen in our setting. Hinckley Small Pet Boarding will not accept responsibility for loss of theft or your pet while staying with us. Our side gate is kept closed, although it cannot be locked due to deliveries. The Cosy Shack is bolted shut at night, we do not use a padlock incase of emergencies. ----------------------------- |
